With a long-standing maintenance relationship, TJI has effectively worked as the electrical maintenance contractor at the Lanxess specialty chemicals Sarnia Site. Other ongoing work includes many capital projects that include high voltage, low voltage, cable systems, and fiber optics.

In a recent initiative with Bluewater Power, TJI worked diligently for Sarnia Lambton areas residents to assisted with repairs and troubleshooting on the recent installation of the new “smart” meter bases.

TJI was the major instrumentation/electrical contractor for the Suncor Genesis project. Our work included the DHT and common facilities, along with the OSI-Revamp in Unit 3. TJI has successfully completed many capital projects in all of Suncor’s units.

Shell’s Sarnia Manufacturing Centre (SMC), also referred to as Shell’s Corunna Refinery, is located about 10 kilometres south of Sarnia, Ontario. Originally built in 1952 by Canadian Oil Companies Limited, the refinery became part of Shell’s operations in 1963 when Shell purchased Canadian Oil.

The Greenfield Energy Centre is a 1,038-megawatt, combined-cycle power generation facility that is designed to meet the growing demand for electricity in Ontario. Calpine owns a 50 percent interest in this facility. Located in Courtright, near Sarnia, Ontario, the facility has the capacity to serve the needs of hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses in the local region.
